Colonoscopy prep was worse I've ever been through. Instructions said to do 2nd part the day of the procedure. Luckily anesthesiologist said since mine was early, could start at 11 PM. Good thing because I started going at 7 PM and continued through 6:30 AM. Friday morning went to get up and had accident in underpants, sweatpants and on floor. Wasn't sure I was going to be able to get to hospital. Was very tired and weak. Age may have played a part in my issues. Made it but had to go one last time as soon as I got to BWMC. Advised Dr V before my colonoscopy. She said if needed another one in future, may need prescription prep. Colonoscopy went ok. She removed 2 polyps. Dr V was Excellent !!! After changed to go home, had accident in my pants on way home. Had diarrhea that night. This was my 4th or 5th colonoscopy and never had these problems with prep or accident afterwards. Have been having gas and tenderness problems but improved. Finally had bowel movement yesterday morning, Tuesday 11/19/24.

I was looking for a new doctorI was looking for a new gastroenterologist and found this doctor. I 'm over the moon with my visit with her recently. My old doctor only sees his patients via Zoom. that jjst does not work for me. Also, he was not willing to find new meds. for my acid reflux. I expect to be very happy with this new doctor I selected. God bless her.

The wait time for my procedure was short. Dr. Simcox and all the staff did a great job and were friendly and courteous, and gave me ample opportunity to ask questions. THe procedure went fine with no complications, and he gave me a report on the results.
