Since this was my 1st visit, Dr. Taunk was very engaged and took time to listen to my concerns regarding my medical issues. He made suggestions about things I can start doing right away to assist with the issues I have. I was very impressed with him.

Comprehensive first colonoscopy done with professionalism, information needed was provided before, during and after the visit. The only area I would say was concerning was the fact that I was told a polyp had been removed and sent off for biopsy and I received no follow up regarding the biopsy after leaving the facility.

Everyone involved in the process was very professional and efficient and inspire confidence. The facilities are excellent. I want this to be a five star review although I cannot say the process of having a colonoscopy is a "great experience," if you know what I mean.

Top rated from beginning to end. Dr. Jackson, Dr. West (?), and Ortega (?) were excellent in their treatment of me. I had no confusion about what was being done. Kudos to Dr. Jackson for her skill, manner, and team. She was highly recommended to me and I will highly recommend her.

For 15 or 20 years I have been going to see Dr. Schultz for my routine screening colonoscopies. I trust his judgement, experience, care and concern for me explicitly. Years ago he referred me to University of Maryland Cancer Center in Baltimore based on his evaluation of a scan. Serious, possibly life saving surgery resulted. I may have now aged out of colonoscopies, but I will always feel that if I have a gastro problem, I can seek medical care with Dr. Schultz. And I feel extremely comfortable with the ancillary staff at the practice. I think five different people asked me what time I last drank liquid. They want to prevent aspiration during the procedure. Instead of relying on one person to ask, they all check. That makes the patient feel that the environment is safe. The prep instructions were detailed and precise. I know people are not enthusiastic about the prep, but I think of it as giving the patient the opportunity to participate in and be helpful in his own care. If you don't do a rigorous prep, it makes it more difficult for the physician to do his best job.
