WILLIAM A. CASSIDY, MD
Dr. Cassidy received his medical degree from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his internship at Memorial Hospital in Johnstown PA, after which he served two years as a general medical officer in the Navy. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine on the Georgetown Service at D.C. General Hospital, and completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology / Hepatology at the V.A. hospital in Washington D.C. Dr. Cassidy has written and lectured nationally and internationally on topics in Gastroenterology.

JAMES M. BLAKE, MD
Dr. Blake received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the V.A. Hospital and George Washington University in Washington D.C. His Gastroenterology Fellowship was served at the Washington V.A. Hospital. He is board certified in Gastroenterology. He has served for many years as the chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee at Anne Arundel Medical Center and is a long time member of the hospital’s Institutional Review Board.

ANTHONY J. CALABRESE, MD, FACG
Dr. Calabrese earned his medical degree cum laude from Jefferson Medical College and was elected into the AOA Honor Society. Postgraduate training followed at Temple University and Jefferson. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He became Chief of Gastroenterology at Andrews AFB, and has been Medical Staff President at AAMC. Dr. Calabrese serves on Maryland’s Colorectal Cancer Advisory Committee.

MICHAEL N. PETERS, MD, FACG
Dr. Peters graduated cum laude from Baylor College of Medicine and was elected to the AOA Honor Society. He is board certified in Gastroenterology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, a former instructor in Gastroenterology at the University of Maryland and past Chief of Internal Medicine at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He has additional expertise in treating biliary tract and pancreatic problems.

JOHN L. NEWMAN, MD, FACG
Dr. Newman attended graduate and medical school at the University of Maryland. He completed training in Internal Medicine at West Virginia University and completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Maryland. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He has served on the Medical Executive Committee at AAMC. He has published several research studies.

Dr. Sankey received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and then served as Chief Resident. DOUGLAS D.DYKMAN, MD, FACG
Dr. Dykman received his medical degree from Washington University in St Louis. Internship and residency were completed at The Jewish Hospital of St Louis / Washington University. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at The Lahey Clinic Medical Center / Harvard Medical School.
He has published several scientific papers and continues to both publish and lecture in the field of Digestive and Liver Disease. He is board certified in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Schultz received his medical degree from the University if Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, ultimately serving there as Assistant Professor of Medicine. He has authored scientific papers, lectured extensively and conducted research in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology.

CHARLES J. CATTANO, MD, FACG
Dr. Cattano received his medical degree from Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse. He trained in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University, followed by simultaneous fellowships in adult Gastroenterology and pediatric Metabolic Diseases at University of Pennsylvania. He has authored scientific papers, lectured extensively and is a long-standing member of Mensa. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and treats adults and children. He is the Principal Investigator for Maryland Clinical Trials.

MELANIE L. JACKSON, MD
Dr. Jackson graduated with cum laude honors from Morgan State University, Baltimore. She received her medical degree from Howard University followed by completion of her Internal Medicine Residency at New York Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. Her Gastroenterology fellowship was served at Washington Hospital Center, Washington , DC. Postgraduate training included a hepatology research program at National Institutes of Health in Maryland. She has published several papers regarding digestive care. She is board certified in Gastroenterology.
